Dr. Dwight Rastetter
Dentist, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Rastetter was born and raised in Iowa. He attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate studies and dental school. After graduating,
he completed his general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He has been practicing in Des Moines since the
summer of 2000.
Kelli Zimmerman
Office Manager, RDH
Kelli has been at Douglas Dental since 1982. She received her hygiene diploma from DMACC in 1982. After practicing hygiene for 40 years, she’s continuing her career with Douglas Dental in an office management position.
Jeanine
Front Desk Coordinator
Jeanine is the friendly face you meet when you arrive. She has over 35 years of customer service experience in the healthcare field. She joined the Douglas Dental team in January 2022.
Donetta Austin
Dental Assistant
Donnetta has worked at Douglas Dental since 2005. She attended Scott Community College in Bettendorf, Iowa, where she received her diploma in the Dental Assisting Program. She also has a certification in Restorative Dental Implants.

Dental Hygienists, RDH
Renee obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from DMACC in 2016 and is originally from Grimes. She worked in public health for 3 years before starting with Douglas Dental in 2019.
Chelsea always had an interest in the healthcare industry, she graduated from the DMACC dental hygiene program in 2016. She joined Douglas Dental in June of 2019.
Rissa is a 2020 graduate of Hawkeye Community College where she earned her Dental Hygiene degree. Originally from Clear Lake, IA, she moved to West Des Moines to join the Douglas Dental team in August 2020.
Kayla
Dental Assistant
Kayla has worked as a Dental Assistant for over 15 years. She started with Douglas Dental in September of 2023. She went into Dental Assisting to help give her patients the same happy experiences she had as a child. She enjoys helping and educating patients, but most of all seeing smiles on their faces.
Lexy
Dental Assistant
Lexy is currently a Dental Assistant trainee. She joined Douglas Dental in January 2024. She’s looking forward to working closely with her patients and the Douglas Dental team, and increasing her dental assisting knowledge daily.
